InProve Mystery Shopping
Originally founded more than 85 years ago, The Pierre is the flagship hotel of the Taj Hotels on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. In 2016 the management looked for a detailed evaluation of room reservation calls focused on emotional rapport building, open questions, personalization, connecting relevant benefits, and professional language.
The InProve team created a Mystery Call program for the hotel for room reservation calls using a customized set of criteria that meet the expectations of the client. The reservation calls are the first point of contact for the client, so it also is a crucial part of the customers journey, that needs to be focused on.
As a result of this continuous quality management the hotel achieved 100% on Forbes Travel Guide evaluation 2 years in a row.
About The Pierre
Originally founded more than 85 years ago, The Pierre, A Taj Hotel is the only AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five-Star rated property on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Situated beside Central Park steps from the luxury boutiques of Fifth & Madison Avenues, the landmark hotel is a white-gloved oasis for the discerning traveler. Known for sophisticated decor, celebrated cuisine and unforgettable events, The Pierre continues to set the standard for timeless elegance and unrivaled hospitality in New York City.
After five years of planning, Frenchman Charles Pierre Casalasco‘s dream to build the world’s most elegant hotel comes true. Backed by Walter P. Chrysler, E.F. Hutton, and a group of influential New Yorkers, The Pierre opens its doors on October 1, 1930.
The world changes almost overnight. The Great Depression, Prohibition and speakeasies mark the end of the Gilded Age, ushering in the new Café Society. Bond holders take over and ask Charles Pierre to stay on as Managing Director. His first task – transforming his hotel into a playground for this new creative class.
